Time to finally build a website

Finally, a website! No longer a 503 but something actually tangible, thanks to the wonders of Jekyll and the minimal-mistakes theme.

It took a while to actually go forward with this, because I had all kinds of overly ambitious plans for custom CMSs and extensible websites, but in the end I couldn’t find the time to actually properly develop this in a secure way that made me feel comfortable hosting it publically. On top of that, Jekyll actually seems to be plenty capable for what I need; blog posts, knowledge bases, links to other locations, should be plenty of features for my usage.

I intend to write up tutorials, save snippets of important knowledge and code, and maybe blog a little if it makes sense. As the site is still quite empty, feel free to contact me with suggestions for things you’d like to see explained or have a tutorial of!
